Gwen's First "Professional" Christmas Pictures
Like all new parents, and many people with cute families do annually, we wanted to find the best dress for our little girl's first "professional" pictures which we were having taken at Target. We found the cutest little plaid Christmas party dress from the Gap and made our appointment. Unfortunately, when the time came Gwen was having an unusually rough weekend (especially having started her day off by scratching her face) and did not want to participate...
To make Gwen's mood even better, we arrived just before lunch and nap time and our appointment got pushed back 20 minutes because the Target Portrait Studio couldn't handle the heat of the Christmas rush. The seventeen year old photographer we got was virtually useless giving us a total of 10 minutes behind the camera and a whopping 6 poses to choose from, none of which Gwen was smiling in. I was livid and frustrated and decided to give Target a run for their money. "Screw this," I thought. "We'll dress her up again next weekend and take our own pictures."
SO much better! Take that, Target! HA!
