Christmas 2007
Gwen had a great "first" Christmas, in the sense that this year she was able to understand, participate, and open her own presents. We started on Christmas Eve with Tony's family joining us for the holiday festivities. Gwen got a new snowsuit and winter coat, galoshes and hat and mittens from Grandma & Grandpa, and lots of fun bath toys and crayons and markers from Uncle Joe & Aunt Maureen and Meagan. Being the fashionista that she is, she immediately wanted to wear her coat and galoshes and we had a hard time getting them off her to wash.
On Christmas Morning Gwen woke up to lots of presents and a full stocking from Santa! She had an awesome time opening her presents and taking a little time playing before we headed out to my parents' house for Christmas dinner (and a ton more presents!). Santa brought Gwen her first baby doll, who seems to be her favorite, along with all her new books, and the Fisher Price Little People SUV, which plays a "catchy" little tune.
Later at Grandma & Grandpa J's house... Lots more fun and presents!!
